In my series of artworks titled "Nosedive," I explore the depiction of specifc animal movements. These moments capture spontaneous instances that are not traditionally represented artistically but rather found in snapshots or feeting observations. I intentionally avoid showcasing unfavorable movements that do not align with the idealized portrayal of animals symbolizing beauty through their graceful postures.

One particular piece features a black mourning swan enclosed within a cube, surrounded by a net that simultaneously supports and restrains its fight. The swan appears to be carried by the band but is ultimately hindered and limited in its movements. Despite its struggles, attempting to break free from the encompassing cube, the swan's eforts prove futile, conveying a sense of exhaustion and defeat.

Through the deliberate choice of animals, I aim to challenge established stereotypes. The substitution of a black mourning swan for the conventional white swan serves as an intentional break from preconceived notions.

"Nosedive" signifes not only a literal descent (as the swan plunges or the calf is injured) but also invites psychological interpretation. These artworks serve as a medium for me to process and convey my personal memories, impressions, emotions, situations, and visions. However, it is important to note that each viewer brings their own unique perspective, projecting their interpretations onto the artwork.
